It is sad to say that most Filipinos are selfish due to poverty. Corruption must not be tolerated by filing cases against the violators. If GMA and her husband is really corrupt, those who have evidence against them must file the necessary cases.

This is something that happens in societies that are experiencing severe poverty under capitalist regimes... then when you add on top of that, the depth of corruption.. well, you end up with a very selfish society.
With that said, it is not as though they are bad. It is more like society is the victim of circumstance. The ppl are just trying to survive.
