I have no reason to think that there would be a problem with my credit report, but I would like to check it because I have NEVER done so! Can anyone recommend a good way to do it?

It is always a good idea to keep track of your credit history once a year. In fact, I am going to get my report too this week from one of the credit bureaus. It'll help you see the improvements or possible downside in your credit history.

To get your free report check out www.annualcreditreport.com
If you are interested in getting the FICO scores, there's a small amount of $$.

Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. The three companies will provide free credit report jointly, the subject is walked through the process of getting their Free credit report when applying, which is via the internet. The subject is asked to input their social security number, free credit report is then made available to be printed out.

All you will need to do is go to a credit rating agency website. In Australia you can either go to ( Dun and Bradstreet )dnb.com.au or baycorp.com.au/ veda advantage( now I think) ..it is completely free to obtain your report, although they charge you for postage and handling ( around $10.00).
