I have been having this burning in my throat for the last few minutes. It goes up, then fades, then comes back again. What is it??

Sounds like acid reflux. Do you have heartburn or indigestion with it? If so, get to your doctor. This condition can be treated with medication and adjustments in your food intake. There are certain foods that make the condition worse, so your doctor will tell what to avoid. They usually prescribe Nexium, or you could get Prilosec OTC, which is cheaper and you don't need a prescription, but it may not be as effective.

moremthan likely its heart burn or indigestion. they can burn up in the throat and indigestion can burn the throat or irritate it. eat some rolaids fast melts or get zantac. but always ask ur pharmaist first if u are on other meds.cause some meds u can't take acid reducers. if persists or worsens see a doc it may be something more serious.
