Pergatory is only in the Catholic faith. But Catholicism claims it does not know the salvation of others. (See the Catechism) It does, however, claim to put faith in the power of salvation that those not in their faith may also be saved.
So for Catholicism, the hope is they do go to pergatory so they can be cleansed to go to Heaven.
Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "doomed to pergatory?" That almost seems like a contradiction since pergatory is for those who are saved.

There is no place called pergatory. The Catholic Church made that one up. It isn't in the bible...so I'm thinking, you have no place to go but down...to a place called Hell.

We dont believe in the traditional concept of hell. Hell is the absence of God and the stopping of ones progression. You just cant learn and grow anymore but you wont be burning in eternal damnation. Most of the socalled torture will probably be you having to deal with the hurt you might have caused others or yourself.
Everyone will be judged according to their knowledge, hearts and works. God wouldnt condemn good people to an eternity of suffering.

No, as there is no such thing as purgatory. You are either saved that is by trusting in Jesus to save you by faith alone, and you go to Heaven, or you reject Him and you go to Hell. Religion doesn't save anyone, your church membership won't save you, nor will your baptism, only the blood of Jesus can save you.

Only God knows who will go to Purgatory. Good news though, if you do have to go to Purgatory, that also means you will go to Heaven, since that is a place of purification.

Since I'm not Catholic and therefor don't believe in purgatory, I would have to say, no.

There is NO SUCH THING as purgatory. NOWHERE in the bible does it talk about it. There is a HEAVEN and there is a HELL

There is no purgatory, there is only Heaven and Hell, life or death, good or evil.
