Spay her. A multitude of things will happen if you don't.

1) She will be at a much greater risk for very serious health issues such as cancer
2) She will go into heat, which is very uncomfortable for her and very frustrating for you
3) She will attract male strays towards your house while in heat
4) She will be more likely to have behavioural problems

I could go on, but hopefully this is reason enough for you to have her spayed!

No, but when a female cat comes in heat, which is usually every 6 weeks until there bred it can become extremely annoying. Some cats yowl the whole time and absolutely beg for it, very loudly. We had a couple of female cats and they were terrible until we got them spayed. Some are not but we didn't get one like that. They also will attract the attention of any male cat within a mile of where you live , just by smell , not counting the noise they'll make. Then you can count on those same males returning to your place. I wish you good luck.

I think you should get her spayed even if she is an indoor cat. I recently adopted a 6 yr old cat and had her spayed but had a shock to find out that she already has mammary lumps, probably caused because she had not been spayed at a younger age. We can only hope she will be be okay when we have the lumps removed from her next week.

Go ahead and book her in for the op.

Spayed females have a much lower risk of developing certain cancers and diseases. Also, fixed animals make much better pets because they aren't focused on reproduction all the time.

Just because she's inside doesn't mean she doesn't need to be spayed. When she goes into heat, she may run straight out the door in search of a mate when you're coming home or going out. If this happens, she will come back pregnant if she doesn't get lost or hit by a car.

Well once a month your female cat will stay at a door or window ,chattering her teeth crying out and if she gets a chance she'll go out the door like a bullet. You will have male cats camping out on your door step catterwalling all night long, you will not be able to sleep ,neither will your neighbors.Eventually a male cat will run into your house or your cat will escape and she will get pregnant. You and your cat will be much happier if you do have her spayed.

Please get her spayed! You will be glad you did. Cats in heat are quite a lot to handle. They strut around with their tails up in the air exposing certain "parts" and often rub against anything and everything, including you, the entire time they are in heat. They are also sometimes quite vocal about it because they are in need and want other cats to hear them. You haven't heard crying until you are awakened in the middle of the night by a female cat in heat! Some of them also become great escape artists in this time and will get out any time you open the door or worse try to fit themselves through any opening they believe will lead outside to where the males are. You don't want you cat stuck somewhere where you can't get her out!

it is as much as you at this component. I certainly have taken in strays, one a kitten, the different older, yet the two enjoyed it. The kitten replaced into feral and have been given used to existence indoors. the different one replaced into older, and by no potential grew to alter into used to it. luckily, my kinfolk had 5 acres of land and he loves putting out in a secure section and being consumed a popular foundation. you will possibly not have that luxury, so listed right here are your ideas: a million. take interior the cat, and notice the way it handles issues. this would not be good, because of the fact cats ARE creatures of habit. they like a known ecosystem, and if being exterior is known, then so be it. 2. call the closest no-kill look after and function it taken in and attempt to get it observed. you're clever adequate so some distance to comprehend that the cat might unlike being taken in. Having others look after it is the superb you're able to do, IMO. even nevertheless, you may attempt to take the cat interior and notice the way it adjusts...if it does in any respect. If it only hides and minds its very own business enterprise then it is superb. it is going to easily prefer time. If it flips out and runs around, enable it out. it is not a cat that would nicely be domesticated :(

She is less likely to have cancer if she is fixed. She would be a lot less likely to try and get outside to the guy cats. Female cat while in heat get down right desperate to get to males. She would be tons happier and healthier if you get her fixed. They have low to no cost spaying programs everywhere to help with cat overpopulation.

After your cat goes in season, you'll want to get her fixed!

All they think about is breeding, you won't want to have her near you.
The males will all be waiting outside and keeping you awake while they fight for the right!

You will have to go thru her mood swings, embarrassing antics, possible health problems. And what if she does get outside when you unexpect it? Are you ready to find good homes for the resulting kittens. Best thing if you care about her is to get her spayed.
