Thats for God to say. A number of Factors come into Play. Perhaps this individual has some Emotional problems that could weight heavily on their minds leading them to take their own lives. Even scientists themselves realise that the Mind is something they have not fully come to understand. Given that God is the Creator of Life and hold that life sacred, it is ultimately up to the Creator to decide whether forgiveness is merited or not.

I think He looks at the heart of a person then makes His decision. He understand our weakness and emotional suffering. He does not will that anyone should take their life but understands the point of hopelessness and despair. So yes, I think God does forgive those who end there life.

Since I believe in the right to die, it assumes self-dignity enough to make one's own decision. Misery to oneself and others surely does more harm than "going off"; however, that misery may change.
For example, how many times have I flipped between christianity and atheism? Gosh, only no one knows! People change all the time, so I don't know...
I was taught that all hints of suicide are to be taken seriously. NO joke to me. So, that's why I proceed seriously. It is a better result when one changes outlook on life and fix some behaviors or even lose the religion. Dependence on God's opinion may mislead and lead to trouble. First, save your life on earth.... then worry about the afterlife after you get on your two feet.

Great question! I do believe that if you have Him in your heart and in your life, you could be forgiven. I think the decision on where you go is determined by the way you lived your life before that point. I guess I just don't see God condemning someone for having a mental illness. That would not be the loving God I was taught about in church.

Since our lives are God's creation and the greatest gift to us, suicide is the greatest sin. You are not able to ask for forgiveness from that sin because -you're dead!
Check out what people say on the website www.iands.org. You'll actually hear tons of reports of near death experiences. They talk about the afterlife with pretty great detail- heaven and hell. Most of them are the same type of experiences.

Yes. Depression is a deadly illness, and God understands the devastation that people who commit suicide are feeling. Please don't interpret this answer to mean that God endorses suicide, because He does not. He created us to live and thrive, and when we aren't, He is committed to helping us get there. God does not want us to kill ourselves.
