No but when I see an accident on the road or someone broken down with a flattire I pray for them. I should pray for the bad drivers I never thought of this before this is a very good idea prayer changes things and moves the hand of God. Thanks for a great post:)

Yes, especially older drivers who are having a hard time driving. I am walking around with a steel plate in my neck because of an elderly driver who should have been taken off the road a long time ago! I was driving my children home from school being very careful on the highway. I was hit by some older gent who ran a stoplight and totaled my van. This man was very old(81) and said "he could not see".Thank God he was not injured although his poor wife had a deep cut on her forehead. They hit us on the passenger side of my van. Thank God my children were all wearing seat belts and were sitting behind me in and not on the side the other car hit. My children suffered from broken bones and I suffered an injury to my neck that was only relieved by surgery. Since then, I pray that people will not be killed and that laws concerning our beloved older folks will be enforced. Even if that means their children may have to run more errands for them, it would mean less injury and deaths on the road for us all.
I have often run errands for older people who need help getting their medications and going to the store. It is a bit easier in this town to know who needs what because everyone knows everyone.

Sometimes but, I will be the first to tell you there prolly couldn't be a more impatient driver and I usually end up going to confession over my tirades against 85 year old men with hats on driving old Ford Tempos. After the Lord takes a two by four to me (figuratively) I repent and pray that they get to where they are going safely and I also think of their situation where they have nobody to get them where they need to go? Then I feel sorry for them. ( although I know they get stubborn at that age too and just refuse to quit driving)
Good question

I just lost a friend in an accident... just received the news today...
She never drove fast... she was always extra careful... but no matter how extra careful u are u can't change how careless others are...
I think bad drivers shouldn't be allowed to drive... they should make it illegal for them to even own a car!
Recently... due to the recent truck accidents... I really really get scared when I wanna drive by a truck!
One of them fell asleep n he almost drove over my other friend... the car got totally ruined (unfixable so they had to throw it out)... if she hadn't stepped on the breaks... the truck would have gone over her instead of the front of the car...

At the speeds that i drive, i don't even notice any driver, or even any cars some tines. lol.
u c that's one of the advantages of driving 100+ range, the bad drivers don't get a chance to harm u.
Disadvantages: one more speeding ticket = 1 year DL suspension?
Best Regards.

not so much anymore, I have gotten away from that, call it laziness, or self absorption. for I am not as focused as I used to be, of course in could be an onset of senility, in any event, i used to.
when I would see a bad driver, or get cut off, I would pray bless them lord, and sure enough a couple of miles down the road, He would be keeping them safe, you how God uses the Angels of his, the ones in the black and while cars, with the bubblegum machine on top. of course they might drive a different color car in your state.

I pray for the safety of all drivers....myself included. I, too, pray for all firetruck drivers and ambulance drivers and police who are driving. I pray before my car leaves my street!

Yes,I do occasionally..and I pray for those who are being carted off in an ambulance,as well.
Quite often though,I shake my head and whisper to myself,"Good DAY to you sir and I really do hope that you figure out where you are going". Evidently in Florida, the use of turn signals,is just a suggestion.
