"In the eyes of history, religious toleration is the highest evidence of culture in a people....It was not until the Western nations broke away from their religious law that they became more tolerant, and it was only when the Muslims fell away from their religious law [Shariah] that they declined in tolerance and other evidences of the highest culture.” -- Marmaduke Pickthall

Can you name a place and time when muslims were following ALL of their Shariah Law?

Shariah Law is evil. Both non-muslims and muslims should do their utmost to repudiate it, condemn it and make sure it does not replace constitutional law.

The decline of the Byzantine Empire after 1204 - and its eventual fall in 1453 - led to an exodus of Greek scholars to the West. These scholars brought with them texts and knowledge of the classical Greek civilization which had been lost for centuries in the West.

Why won't you give the GREEKS the credit they deserve? After all, SO MUCH of "Arabic" science was directly stolen from conquered Greek cultures. It's so tiresome watching a people who plundered so much try to claim their religion is to be given credit for "enlightenment"
