Voting is our constitutional right. Although lobbyists and political parties have power and lobby in Washington DC and before State legislatures, every vote counts. If you need help on an issue, contact your legislator. We should never give up this fundamental constitutional right.

Voting does matter. If it doesnt dont vote and then it wont cancel the vote of a person who might actually think.

Not sure where you're getting this "most of us" nonsense, but I don't feel that way, and always vote.

Here's the thing, you also have to let your elected officials know how you stand on the issues during their term of office. If you don't, you are truly not participating.

Assuming that were even remotely true, wouldn't electing a person of a different political conviction change which group gets his support, and thus at least subtly alter the political landscape?

It is definitely still important to vote, because as soon as we give up voting, we have given up what little say we possess.

Probably not. The NRA is a particulary nasty group who are not controlled by good old boy hunters any more but by good boy thugs.

if the NRA was ruling there would be no attempts,either backdoor as is going on now,or overt to infringe on gun owners rights so I feel your question has no merit..
