1. nothingness
2. truthfully, gently
3. no, I celebrate Winter Solstice

I am an agnostic pagan Witch. I believe all paths lead to the same place, and while I think that there is nothingness in the sense of our present consciousnesses, I do not know what, if anything, may actually happen. No one really does, in my opinion.

Many blessings,

I think 2 things happen after you die. First you fade from this world into the one to come. I think I will see Jesus first off, at least that is my hope. Also, I think I will be at peace for the first time ever.

I explain to children (of my death also) that we are like stories who each day, we write a page. When our story is over, we stop writing pages, and we are taken to be with the LORD to await the resurrection. (i used this in iraq to school children I wrote, and some kids that were very scared for me that I was friends with their parents.)

I do not celebrate christmas in the way you mean. I have no family and I generally spend christmas by myself.

1. After I die, my body is cremated. There is no other part of me to be concerned about.,

2. I explain death in simple terms. I do not say the dead person is "in heaven" or that any part of that person continues somehow, somewhere.

3. We enjoy decorating the house and celebrating a secular holiday. Christmas trees came from paganism. The idea of exchanging gifts did not originate with the Biblical myth of the wise men giving gifts at the birth of Jesus.

1. You rot and become fertilizer, are burned and become fertilizer, or deliberately have yourself injected with tons of artificial chemicals in an attempt to remain a zombie for the rest of eternity.

2. The same way you explain the death of their pet hamster. The dead person/pet is gone and isn't coming back. Remember the good times you had together and realize that they would want you to carry on and be happy even though they will no longer be with you.

3. Of course. There is nothing wrong with celebrating ancient pagan holidays. Not even the Christians gave them up when they converted to Christianity.

1) I think people who do good things in their life go to heaven.
2) I wish I knew the answer to that question. It's a complicated question - but I don't have experience with telling a kid that since I don't have a kid (I'm 13 years old, so obviously I don't have a child).
3) I do celebrate Christmas. I celebrate with my family every year.

I just reread your question. I do believe in God, so I probably shouldn't have answered this question.

1. We are dead. Period. I am donating my body to science so it will be of some use.
2. My kids are older and understand death is death.
3. We do celebrate Christmas, though in a secular manner. We see it as a time for family and friends to show each other how much they care.

2) Just by telling the truth.

1. I,like everyone else, have no idea.
2. I don't have any kids
3. I would prefer not to, but it has become a large family event in our society. Plus I get a paid day off work. ANd if you think most people celebrate Jesus on Christmas, I have two words for you: Santa Claus.

1. Nothing. Anything more is fantasy.
2. The same as I would to myself. Children do not need to be sheltered that much.
3. Somewhat. The Santa Claus and Christmas tree, etc, for the kids.

1. The universe moves on. I will experience it in the same capacity that I experienced it before I was born.

2. I explain how they died. Death is a part of life, and children shouldn't be shielded from that once they can perceive it. Your question leads me to believe that you have yet to cope with the reality of death, and instead believe in fantasies that make you feel better.

3. Yes, with family members who are Christian. It makes them happy, and I enjoy spending time with family.
