I got mine from just being me I wear my heart on my sleeve so a basic heart but with added designs to fit me and I'm thinking of getting it on my shoulder down to my upper arm area...it's gonna look beautiful--can't wait;)

My first tattoo was of a Kanji and its just the black out line to keep it simple and clean. I was looking through symbols and this one just popped out at me because what it inspired fit how I was feeling with my family. My second is of a four inch by three inch treble clef in caligraphy style with white light gaps in the widest points. In the bottom is a brown and cream monkey with pink paw pads sitting just wearing a cute grin. This one is custom art that I had Jeff (the guy who did my first one) draw up for me. Music has been my life, I've played the violin for eight years and my violin has family history to it as well. Monkey is nickname I've always had, they all call me a monkey at heart so I combined the two into one design. It will be farther developed after my grandfather passes. I'll have a calla lilly worked into the top and gramps initials in one leaf and my great grams put into a second leaf. They are two of the most important people in my life that I always idolized and when he passes things will be different. She died when I was eight so it's my way of honoring her. Plus it wouldn't take too much work to have the flower fed into top of an existing tattoo versus creating an entirely new format.

Which one? LOL! Seriously, all of mine (I have 7) were my own ideas. I would have to say that my favorite is the one at the top of my left breast. I have a rose at the top of a heart with a banner going through the heart with my granddaughter's name in the banner - and her birth date at the bottom. The reasoning for the placement of this one is...my granddaughter is my heart, so I figured I would have the tat on the left side of my chest.

i have several:
i have a tattoo of a jackass with a big red lipstick kiss on its bum - as in 'kiss my a$$' on my bum
i have a trio of pink pigs with wings - 'when pigs fly' on my shoulder
i have betty boop admiring herself in a mirror on my calf
i have tweety bird on my lower back
i have bracelets of flowers around my wrist and ankle
i have the aussie flag with the phrase 'australian made' on my hip..
i am going next week to get sylvester the cat on my other hip so that he is looking at tweety bird!
thats about it
why? because they are pretty and/or cute and/or funny. they have no deep hidden meanings for me - i see one i like and if i like it three months later then i will probably go get it - but i do try and keep them on the smaller side, and the more 'rude' ones like the kiss my *** one get put where no one else will see them!
i don't like piercings - no reason - just think they are horrid - but thats me!
as for work, i have a pretty decent job and as long as i don't flaunt my artwork the bosses don't say anything!

Well...I am a Georgia peach so I had a friend who was a Disney Animator draw a peach for me. Then I found a drawing of a stick figure ballerina that my daughter drew and used that to show that I am dancing through life!

My first tattoo was of a dolphin. My son really liked dolphins. I got a second dolphin to hide a man's name. I then (stupidly) tattooed my husband's name on my back and had to get another set of dolphins to hide that tattoo.
names and dolphins... cover ups and mistakes.

I wanted an arm band, but barbed wire and tribals are too common. I went with a bullet chain. The type of rounds that are fed into an automatic rifle.
I also had my favorite pistol done on my left arm. A Sig P230.

I got my astrology sign (virgo) above my left breast because I like astrology, and then just recently I got the name Trixie Mae written on the inside of my left wrist because she's my soul mate and I always want her to be a part of me =)
