The last time I went to a meeting, Weight Watchers allowed you to replace 1/2 of your water with non-caffienated beverages. The important thing in the 6 - 8 is that they be primarliy water.

Sweety, pouring either into a water bottle will not do a thing but putting them into a bottle of water will not change the water into another substance but just give it flavor! Yes, tap water counts. It will do the same thing that purified water will do but may have an unwanted flavor to it that you will not get with bottled water, so use the tea with the tap water or the CL. Tea is better since it contains anti-occident capabilities.

To answer your second question, it doesn't matter if it's tap or purified water. But as for your first question, those packets add a lot of sugar and chemicals. Its better than soda, but you should still have at least 6 glasses of normal water a day.

Use those packets if you wish. It's still water and counts as the 6-8 glasses of water per day. I'm a physician.

yes its still water. its just flavored and has a better taste to it. cristal lite is one of the healthier flavoring packets out there. i buy purified bottles of water, put those packets in them, drink it, and fill it back up with tap water. water is water and it does not matter if its purified or not as long as it isnt completely discusting, dirty, and will make u sick. tap water isnt like that. salt water or ocean water wouldnt really count.

Of course it's still water. You don't have to actually drink plain water to get your allotment for the day. Water is in many things. Coffee, juice, foods such as watermelon, soup, fruits, etc. Milk also counts. But not alcohol...alcohol has a dehydrating effect so if you drink alcohol you should also increase the ammount of other liquids you consume.

It's still water, LOL. Recently I've read new health guidelines that water in juice and tea form are just as beneficial. Still try to get half your water in unflavored form.
