Picture this. You've been seeing each other for 6 weeks, then he turnes around and says he likes you but doesn't want to hurt you and is in too much of a mess to let anyone else in his life at the moment, I know this is all true, so please don't tell me to ditch him. I want to tell him I don't care what mess or anything really, I just want to be with him.. How do I let him know how I feel? Without him ignoring me, or getting angry. HELP! I really like this guy and can see us together for a long time !!!

If he tells you to back off, then you should back off.
Pursuing him after he's said that to you will only push him away from you. Respect his wishes and don't crowd him.
I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but if you want to impress him, give him what he wants and be respectful.

then sit down together and tell him that --- so many people break up because they dont sit down early enough and tell each other how they feel and what they want from the relationship --- best wishes

just tell how you really feel. honestly i hate guys with those kind of reasons just to let the girls go...BOYS and THEIR STUPID NOBLE REASONS.... i mean why dont they just get real...give him some space but dont lose grip... show him that youll support him through out and that your willing to wait till he figures out his life...for sure he'll see how you to click together... and who know maybe youll find your happpy ever after with him...;-)
