It cute to see foxes around, but not really a good thing at all. They belong in the fields and away from us. We are the culprits. We have caused them to wander into suburbia. They are not meant to be here.
They are animals and they do not belong alongside us, it is not natural. We swerve in our car to avoid running them over, worry about the dustbins litter everywhere, and they can bite even though they look beautiful.
I do know they also are a menace to farmers chickens etc., I do not agree with cruel fox hunting. They have to be culled I know but there must be simpler ways.

Unwelcome. They are notorious for contracting rabies.
1. Skunks.
2. Bats.
3. Foxes
In order of incidence of rabies.

they are not cute nearly all urban foxes have mange because the are living out of dustbins and and do not have a proper diet they are infested with lice and some good doers are catching them and releasing them out in to the country where they do not survive because they have lost the knowledge of how to hunt they just look for wast to eat until the farmer shoots them

I like them.
The argument about fox hunting doesn't wash with me because when I used to live in Wales they would import lorry loads of foxes from Bristol and unleash them onto the countryside so there would be rich pickings for the fox hunters!!!! So it was purely a sport, they were not controlling the foxes at all.

I'd guess welcome.
Isn't that why stocky going on to middle age paunch, gray growing thin on top Canadian males with ruddy faced leers clutter like nouveau riche they aren't (but bull-necked out of too small white polo shirts decked by at least one faux-gold chain), on Saturday afternoon outside fish 'n chip shoppe counting small change with a sweating low squinty-eyed brow?
Who better for the urban fox? Its the thrill of the hunt, y'know.

Welcome...they probably have nowhere else to go with so much habitat destruction going on. You should NOT feed them however..hopefully they will adjust to their new surroundings and still be able to hunt and find food on their own. Foxes are pretty adaptable..unlike some other species that die as a result of habitat destruction.

Welcome, invite them to dinner in the towns and cities then they don't go out to the countryside to dine lol. Joking aside all animals are equally welcome, we are all part of the same eco system. I am not saying you should not take steps to prevent them emptying your bins in the city or killing your chickens in the country such as leaving hair and weeing near boundaries or installing electric fences. But foxes eat chickens it is natural and should be accepted. They tend only to take old chickens anyway if they are fully free ranging ones.
They are incredibly beautiful, it is magical seeing them close up, but even if they were not, they still are an intrinsic part of the eco system and as such they should be welcome.

Welcome - I have a family of foxes living in my garden - they are sometimes noisy at night but banging on the window usually shuts them up!
Don't forget, they only reason they are urban foxes is because we have built on their natural habitat so they have no where else to live!!
