Pilot positions are highly competitive and you'll need to be at the very top of the list on your grades plus have a college degree. Your eyesight must be correctable to 20/20 and, of course, you must meet all the physical requirements. It's NOT a walk in the park by any means, but not impossible if that's your goal.

Research what's required to attend any military academy, ROTC, OCS, etc. Talk to active duty officers if possible that have flight positions. There are many different types of aircraft and some have higher requirements than others. In other words, do your homework, have a plan, then work your plan. And, just don't take my advice, either. Seek out the experts that can give you solid advice (avoid the YA wannabes). Good luck.

To become a military pilot, you will more than likely have to become a commissioned officer in the military, or a warrant officer, in some cases. Only in rare cases, and with certain types of aircraft, are enlisted personnel allowed to fly. Your eyesight, if correctable, should not be a problem. Your best bet would be to speak to a recruiter in whatever branches you are interested in, and see what needs to be done. Good luck.

Probably not. Pilots have to have really good eyesight and be very physically fit.
Get your diploma. You need it.
Make sure you can do 30 or 40 pushups in a couple minutes, same with situps, run at least one mile in less than 12 minutes. (I think that's right, I'm not sure.)

For physical conditions, the guy who said a mile in under 12 minutes was off by about 5 minutes. You're going to need to be able to run a 7 minute mile, maybe you can squeak by with 8.

I'm following a system to improve my vision with simple eye exercises. I found it on this site http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=413. I'm starting seeing very positive (and unexpected) results.
It's amazing.
Bye Bye

Pilots are officers and require a 4 year degree. the eyesight must be uncorrected 20/20 or better. if you need glasses at night, you will not pass the flight physical. Planes land at night, too.

as long as your eyesight is correctable you're fine in that aspect. what you need to do though is you need to get a college degree in order to become an officer and by being an officer, the door is opened to being a pilot.
