Maybe book smarts and plain intelligence don't go hand in hand. Because it seem for all thesmarts girls are said to have they fall into situatuions like this all the time. Like they can't see the forest for the trees.

No wonder guys play so many girls because the girls put targets on their backs. Surely they can't be that ignorant, can they?

Intellegent guys do ''stupid'' things too when their feelings are involved

Women use men too....and however 'sweet' he says she is if she is agreeing to the friends with benefits she must know the score

What worries me is she seems to know about the ''friends with benefits'' deal but still wants to buy him bloody rollerblades and go for a romantic bloody scate in the park together

Unfortunately girls see sex as some form of acceptance and that is the trap. As long as someone is "sleeping" with them they feel accepted. Until a girl accepts that she is more valuable than a "toy" she will keep the hope that guys like this are all she deserves. Once she sees that she is a valuable and remarkable human being and worth real love, trust and conversation she will be on her way to real womanhood. YEP they can. Maturing isa long long process. I have a 29 yr old daughter who still acts like shes 14 . Got a 21 yr old daughter that acts like her Grandma. When it come to women chasing men its like a hound dog chasing a skunk . You never know how bad the smell is tell you get a hold of it .

They're not ignorant...they just may not think much of themselves and whenever someone gives them attention it's the best thing in the world.

Some may realize that they're being treated badly, but when they get sex they feel alive, like they're beautiful and that they are worth someone's affection.

it's too cruel to say about these girls that they're stupid or ignorant. Unfortunatley they've not been with someone who respects them and someone who thinks they're worthwhile.

I used to be like that - i used to think that any attention was someone saying to me "you're worth my time, you're beautiful" but i was just fooling myself. In this mindframe i hurt myself over and over again in a vicious cycle of low self-esteem.

Then one day, i realized that i wasn't happy and that i wasn't fulfilled after things like that happened. I learned on my own that i was better than that and that i deserve better.

Then i started to look for guys that made me feel special, smart, and like a beautiful woman. it's a very hard habit to break out of, and some girls just let themselves fall into this pattern because it's easy, or because it's too hard to change.

Please don't be so hard on these kinds of girls..they haven't yet learned their self-worth yet....and what does it say about the guys who take advantage of these girls?

Girls do 'mature'- grow breast, grow pit and pubic hair, start their periods, generally have a since of common sense - at a younger age than boys.
BUT..... Their hormones make them just as stupid as guys when it comes to sex.
