My Redbone Hound Dog just came home with a small paper sack in his mouth. I opened up the bag and inside was a roll of bills totalling $300.00
This is so bizarre

Should I report it to authorities or just let it ride?

The family is praising my dog, but the money will stay with me. I let my dog run free in the country and she always comes home in the morning all muddy from running Racoons. I have to keep her tied up when she runs too much. Tonight she was out in the field and nobody knows where she goes from there, but this is something that rarely occurs. Little Ann just bought her self a new collar.

Thank your puppy and move on. Haha I agree that all animals should have a job. They can get expensive. Can I please schedule a play date (my dog with yours) so he can learn some new tricks from your dog. :)

LMAO! I'd like a dog like that! If you have any idea who the money could belong to, I would ask if they lost some money. I wouldnt bother calling the authorities because there was no ID info in the bag (unless you want some publicity for the unusual circumstances), like you'd have with a wallet. Also a paper sack is an odd place to have $300 in cash. Check inside the bag to see if there was anything like a receipt...maybe someone went to the store and stopped at the atm and just tossed the money in the sack. You may also consider putting an ad in your local paper in the Found section, and just put that some loose cash was found, and whoever can verify the exact amount and the type of thing the money was stored in, gets it back. You might get some people calling you just hoping to have the lucky guess, but only the owner of the money would know it was exactly $300 and a paper sack.

attempt NILIF - not something In existence Is unfastened. while your dogs exhibit an undesirable habit in hopes of earning interest, forget approximately it. Your interest serves as a reward of substances. For a dogs, the Alpha has possession of each and all of the needed substances; giving them at your guy or woman discretion teaches the dogs the hierarchical order. once you come domicile, if your dogs greets you in an particularly excited vogue, forget approximately her. do not puppy her, do not talk to her, turn your back and walk away. she would be able to act annoyed initially, yet as quickly as she calms down, compliment her profusely, supply her pets and hugs and he or she'll learn rather devoid of postpone what you assume from her.

If you report it to the Police they may have a rule that they hold it for 30 days at which time if no one Clim's it, it becomes your property.

I would also look in the local newspapers and see if someone is asking for it back. You don't have to do nothing, that's up to you. But this may have been a robbery or someones life savings. I think I would go to the Police.

I would not report it, look in the paper for a few days, and see if anyone reports it lost. If you call them, let them tell you the exact amount that was lost. Maybe stolen or drug money.

I was just wondering where the dog was coming home from and why he is running loose in the first place.

Report it. You never know how the money ended up in there, and if it turns out it's not claimed, you'll be entitled to it with no legal consequences like you'd face if you kept it.
