If this is a sudden thing than he needs to see a vet ASAP! especially if it because of an injury. Find a emergency vet and get your dog there now!

He could have a paralysing tick - these are fatal. The ticks are very hard to find (not like cow ticks). If your dog has a tick it will end up seizing their lungs and cause death in a matter of hours if not removed and the dog treated. Take him to the vet immediately so they can start treatment.

A little more info on what kind, and age the of dog you are speaking of may help out, but, you may want to try to give your dog a couple of aspirin. A friend of mine had a choc lab that had some problems with his hind legs in his later years, and my friend used to give him some aspirin once and a while to help.

Awwww. Is your dog a German Sheppard? They tend to get hip displacia. Maybe your dog's back legs are paralyzed.
Whatever the cause is, take him to a vet...........NOW!!!!!
He is probably in alot of pain, so be careful getting him to the vet. Or maybe he cannot feel at all. Be careful. Good luck!!!!!

if you have time to post this question, take him to the vet
often times, this could mean a sudden seizure in his legs, or a nerve died. Take him to the ER now...sooner the better. If you delay, there's a chance that his legs will move, but, will have a slight disability.
