hi, a few weeks ago my girl had her trans slip while she was just starting to leave a redlight. Its gotten more frequent and just did about 3 times in the last 2 miles. Anyone have any ideas? Its a 98 sentra gxe. Its got 116000 miles on it and has never had the trans serviced. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Start shopping for a used lowest mile transmission you can find 1996 to 1999 will be the same. I just haven't seen many non Nissan Rebuilds work properly. Nissan Reman trans is the best choice with a new radator and four motor mounts could cost $3,000 or more. Always flush out or replace the radator because metal can get stuck in the trans oil cooler. Just make sure there is the proper fluid level in it and start shopping.
