Alright, i like this girl. Weve been freinds for years. She broke up with her ex about a month and a half ago, yet they still talk alot, and idk if she still likes him or not. I like her, and we... i guess you could call it dates, go to dinner or see a movie a lot, but nothing happens, always jus a friendly have fun. I like her but i dont want to ruin the frienship, and idk if she still likes her ex. What should i do? Im afraid to ask that i will ruin the relationship. Plz help!

I know my guy friend likes me. We have fun together and go to movies and I think if we went out it would ruin our friendship. But I was friends with this other guy and we went out, and he's still like my best guy friend, but we don't like each other in the bf/gf way anymore. I guess it just depends on what kind of person you are. If you're going to be all shy around her and nervous, then it probably won't work. If you aren't afraid to be yourself, then I'd so go for it and tell her how you feel.

Ask as a friend how she stands with her ex and how she is feeling. If there are ANY feelings at all... BACK AWAY. One thing that is always a friendship killer is when a guy tells a girl that he likes her and there's no reciprocation (i myself have backed away from male friends after their confessions multiple times).
Just be there for her and try to gauge the situation and how she may possibly feel.

Ask her say "do you still have feelings for your ex" if she says yes then you know that you need to back off. If she says no then you should tell her you like her but you do not want to ruin your friendship.

I'd tell her, why suffer! If you're hanging out with her now,and I know there has to be times you like to be walking down the street. Holding her hand.Or giving her a kiss good-night.
Talk to her!
She's your friend, I'm sure you and she can have a conversation.

I think it is still premature to think that she is over her ex, especially since they talk a lot.
They must have broken up under pressures of circumstances and this means there is a strong possibility of them getting back together.
I would recommend you to be friends with her but find another girl for yourself.

ok, this sounds like a movie. friend likes girl, girl likes someone else, girl falls for friend. anyway, just tell her how you feel. if she's at all decent, she'll understand. i mean, i just told one of my best friends that i really liked him and we're still tight as ever, maybe even tighter. anyway, just tell her that. and judging by your avatar, it should be no problem to get the girl you want.

Tommy! You should talk to her about her ex! Ask her if she still has feelings for him, and that crap! She will think that u r sensitive, and if she doesn't wait a week and ask her out!

he will seem you in the eyes. however, some people make solid eye touch with verbal replace. If he likes you this is going to likely be severe eye touch. Take be conscious how he talks to persons. Does he save direct eye touch like he does with you? Or is it diverse?

if shes a good friend she'll understand and it wont ruin your friendship if she doesnt like you that way...but i suggest take it slowy dont just blurt it out give her more time to get over her ex
