William Branham was a remarkable man. He was born April 6, 1909 in log cabin in Jeffersonville Indiana. His father was a logger and an alcoholic. The family was for the most part Catholic, but at that time William was having nothing to do with religion.

While helping his father work his still, a Voice of an Angel of the Lord spoke to him and told him to never drink, smoke or be involved with women in an immoral way.

At age 19 he left home , and worked for a time on a ranch, and then tried boxing, where he was successful winning 19 fights. He was in his early twenties when he had his Christian Conversion experience. He took a position as the assistant Pastor of a small missionary Baptist Church. In disagreement with the Pastor regarding women preaching in the church, he resigned and started preaching in a tent. His ministry was so successful that the congregation rented a town hall for his meeting and eventually built the Branham Tabernacle. this was in1933.

While in a preaching assignment in 1950 in Houston, someone took a picture of him at the podium. When the picture was developed, it showed a halo above his head. There was no logical explanation for this happening.

He was indeed a prophet, and he prophesied many events that actually took place. He was an extraordinary man of God.

Yep...add him to the list, might as well, for one more on the endless trail of blind hope makes not the slightest difference. Excepting that if some folk write about him enough then they may even develop some spelling prowess, or even take task with the spell checker.
