Yes there are some that enjoy abusing people...but those are the ones who you just simply ignore.
Then there are some people who don't take the time to actually read the question properly and come up with an answer that just doesn't match the answer you are looking for or go right off the track and read too much into them.
All I can say is ignore the nasties and there are many and take in what the people who really want to help you out are saying.
Don't take the nasty answers too seriously and you won't feel so bad.

Awww c'mon, not everyone is rude, most of us are nice and friendly unless the question is some horrible racist or insulting thing.
Unfortunately, in an anonymous setting like this, you'll find a few trolls and nitwits ~ treat them with the respect they deserve, lol, and move on to the more pleasant folks.
After all, it's not personl ~ they don't know you or anything about you, really ... just as you don't know any of us personally.
Just be glad YOU've got better maners!
Cheers :-)

Maybe because people find a weird kind of thrill in being rude. I mean, what's the point in being rude when someone asks a question? I never understand the reasoning behind it. It's strange.

Not everyone is rude. Some immature people are..stay away from questions that are obviously from someone who has too much time and too little sense. There is a lot of good help here. I do know what you are saying. If it is very bad..hit the report it button.

Why would you turn to yahoo answers, of all the places on the internet for "personal testimony"?
Don't you know that Yahoo has long been known as the place full of phonies. If you want real "testimony" go somewhere else... Beliefnet comes to mind.

I think it is because the Person puts the Question in a way that seems to come from a Smart-Alick .Meet another Smart Alick and the answer is likely to be rude.

Not all of us are rude, but you are right that a lot of people are rude. No idea why maybe its because they have nothing better to do, maybe because its in their nature or maybe its because they just don't know the answer.
Some of us do try and help.
Hope you find all those who aren't rude. Good luck

Cause they aren't getting any.
They are just sitting on the computer all day, and complaining about stuff. It's sad, but it's easier for them than offering something nice or worth wile.
It's ashamed, but that's just some people. I recommend you pity and ignore them.
There is too much life to live to waste it on the losers.
