I don't know how old you are, but as a parent I never allowed a teacher to decide when my child could use the bathroom. If she asked to go they better darn well let her. I hope whatever trouble you got into didn't cause you to much grief.

I obviously don't know what had gone on in class prior to you leaving. Had you and her had a problem of any sort? Was this the first time you had asked her to go and she said no? Was there any chance she would you have let you gone in a few minutes?

I think that if it was *truly* an emergency (I'm not doubting you when you say it was, I'm just saying that this should have only been done in a situation where you really truly could not have waited until she either finished teaching or after your class ended) then I think you did the right thing. You should try and talk to her individually (if you haven't already) and explain the situation. She may not be open to talking about it; in that case, you will most likely have to still do whatever your consequence is (like detention or whatever)...good luck.

If you are not normally disruptive in class, and this was absolutely an emergency situation, you should be able to pretty easily explain that to the staff in the office. Perhaps the office will speak with the teacher, also, about making better determinations of when to allow students to use the restroom.

My mother always told me to ask first, and if the teacher refused that if I couldn't hold it that I should go anyway. It's understandable that teachers don't want kids getting up and down all through class, but when it's an emergency they cannot expect you to hold it. I hope that you were not rude to the teacher, but simply explained that it was an emergency.

Hopefully, you will get off easy...if not next time really try to go between classes.

Maybe you were being disruptive when he/she was trying to give a lesson. I'm sure he/she would have let you go if you had just waited a little bit. You should not have walked out because your teacher is responsible for you.

ask permission before you get up. and don't wait until it's an emergency, because it may not be a good time, she may ask you to wait a couple minutes.

If you're older than about 6 you should be able to manage your bodily functions well enough to make it through class.

Ask to speak to her privately, and explain the situation.

Gotta do what you gotta do. Teacher feels free to attack just because his mistakes are hidden. The most important part of life is to defend the sanctity of your own mind.
