our dog keeps ruining our plant garden... what to do?

she's in the cage every morining, at night we let her lose.
but every night when everyone's sleeping, she ruins my mom's plants. she even eat the catus. she breaks the plant pots. mom is getting really mad. what should i do with her to stop from ruining the plants?

is it ok to punish her? but how?

She is too bored and full of energy.
Try to burn her energy before bed time. Give her plenty of toys to play with. But the best way is let her stay in a smaller room without any plants.

Get a bitter apple spray and squirt it on all the plants. It won't harm the dog, or the plants.

Also, is she outside all of the time? She might be trying to get some needed attention, especially from being locked up for so long with no one around. That's no life for a dog.

There is a spray that will deter dogs from messing around the plants. It has to be applied often. I used to use it because my neighbor's cats, like to do their business, around our house.
