Why did Teresa Earnhardt have to ruin the chase hopes of Burton and Truex?

The blown engines obviously have to do with Teresa getting back at Jr, but why take it out on Burton and Truex? Any theories?

(HINT: 10 points to the person who makes me laugh the hardest!!)

You asked for a conspiracy theory - here it is.

.....OK, to understand the real reason behind the impound races you have to change your mind from thinking "that could have never happened" to "you know, that does make sense".

.....Now Miss T knew since Dale Jr was leaving that her sales of memorabilia were going to go down. Sure she had other drivers but nobody as marketable as Dale Jr. She needed a 7 post shaker to try and compete for the 2008 season and didn't want to take out a loan.

....A parallel world exists with Brian France and his needs. France has been catching the devil from all of the rule making procedures and the whole chase idea from Gordon fans since Gordon lost his points lead when the chase started and Clint Bowyer won the first chase race. He could never admit something he created had fault.

.....Now in order to keep the Gordon/Johnson fan base happy he needed a plan. Knowing that Jr would never go along with his plan and let Gordon win he decided to turn to Teresa. It was the perfect smoke screen. Nobody would ever suspect they were in cahoots. He knew she didn't like Jr so they met, had drinks, and worked up a deal for a 7 post shaker.

......Darkness fell and it was late at night and the number of drinks had began to accumulate. They eased into the shop where the cars were kept. Neither one could hold their liquor. In fact they could NOT tell who's car was who's. They decided to just drop some sand in each one. Not being satisfied that they got the correct one they tried a few more.

.....Now France thought since they were there, and he already didn't like RCR or Burton or AT&T that he would drop a little sand in Burton's engine just to try and impress Miss T. Neither one of them had a date in a few years so it was music between the two and a match made in heaven - for the night.

.....People you really need to understand the power behind the almighty dollar. The man will do anything to make sure Gordon and Johnson wins. Heck he even paid Tony Stewart to miss that block and fall back in the pack so Gordon could win.

The very idea of this is ridiculous. Think about it in the long term. If you are in Theresa's position, you want to put your best foot forward and show what your teams can do, particularly when you are in the position of trying to attract another top level driver to your organization. Not only that, the financial implications of something like that are over the top. The ability to maintain sponsor relationships, not to mention the extra income brought in by finishing as high as possible in races and the standings. The winnings from these races don't all go to the drivers. I think Junior has simply struck a run of lousy luck. Although I'm not really a fan of either Jr. or DEI, I was kind of hoping he could leave there with a flourish and a strong points finish. I guess his old Busch pal, Matt Kennseth will continue to show the way at the top level.

Teresa is going into Childress' engine shop and personally make sure every engine in the shop fails for the rest of this year, just to make sure Jr, Truex and the Childress drivers don't win the championship. It is a ploy to make sure Henricks win the Championship again this year.

I hear she wants to go visit JGR too.

I don't think Theresa is in charge or ordering engine parts, and I'm almost 99% positive she doesn't work in the engine room, so I doubt she has anything to do with it. I bet she couldn't even find the engine department if she was asked.

Oh yes, we all believe that Theresa puts on her little dungarees and head off to the engine shop everyday and personally builds them. I'm sure her Playskool set of wrenches works real well, much better than Craftsman.

You know I think this "B" just stays home and puts a spell on everyone...I hope she gets this out of her system next yr...When Dale Jr will be gone.......Then DEI and RCR and move ahead, maybe she put to much of a spell on the engines today, and it went to far, hit the guys other than dale jr..Teresa I hope you choke next yr when dale Jrs engines from HMS are winning....I'm so sick of DEI engines this yr I'm ready to just barf....anyway my baseball team lost today to...I've had a very pissy sunday, and just to think teresa was involved..makes monday something to look forward to...yikes

That's not the half of it she was also in on the Kennedy assassination. She also helped in the NASA hoax making everyone believe we really landed on the moon. I do believe eventually we can compile enough evidence of all this and bury her where she hid Jimmy Hoffa's body.
