Jesus is a forgiving and kind God, but he is also to be feared. You should always remember that Jesus will not leave your side no matter how ugly the world becomes.
Prayer should be in schools, and the best way to insure that this happens is to PRAY. The Holy Spirit can change hearts and change minds. Trust in the Lord, he has a plan that we could never understand.

Idol Worship example;Sports Super Players-Rock and Rap is an Indication God has removed His Hand of Protection from a Nation or Person;
God help us should this be the case;

I faintly remember something along the lines of which you speak, hmm, the Dark Ages was it?
I think my child is quite fine without your hateful dogma. You worship a deity that represents the worst of a culture far inferior to our in acting in a non-violent manor, which is pretty apparent as women are constantly stressed as inferior, slavery is condoned, and violence is at the least not frowned upon in many Biblical passages, bordering on encouraged.
You worship whichever God you want, but leave the Children who are not yours alone. Crazy fundamentalists like you are why I had to move out of the Bible Belt, you are nothing less than a child predator...

You are so on the mark. AMEN AND AMEN! As Ezekiel, Hosea, Isaiah, and other prophets in The Word of God prophecy, Blessed is the nation whose God IS THE LORD.
But Yehushuah (Jesus) also told us what we are to watch for in the last days. And if you are watching, you will know that it is coming to pass. We ARE in the morning of the seventh day according to God's calendar.
I don't know if you know this, but once they "removed God" and prayer from the schools, those same school's kids, have turned away from GOD and turned to worldly things; and uncaring in attitude toward their elders. Also, the government has made it a law practically that children are not allowed to be disciplined. Now, those same kids who have grown up without discipline and without God, are turning their own parents against them because of their spiteful disobedience and disrespectfull attitudes.
You have touched a nerve, Friend in Christ. and I do so wish you the best. Pray, Pray and then pray some more.
I stand with you for Yehushua. Amen. God bless you.

Excuse my language but what a load of bollocks. The reason the world is like it is is mainly due to religion. Children do not need to be brainwashed. My parents gave me life, NOT Jesus. There is no heaven so how can someone called Jesus get anyone there? Have I missed anything?
You are preaching.......and on the most part im sure even the Christians here will agree, it is not welcome.

The problem with your approach is that you cannot limit prayer or teaching of religion to Jesus or your particular interpretation of Christianity. If you allow prayer in school, you must allow all prayer whether it's Muslim, Hindu, Catholic, Mormon, or Buddhist. Are you agreeable to that? The same rule would apply to allowing religion in public places. You're allowing all religion if you do that.
The reality is that there's no law currently restricting prayer in school. Anyone can pray anytime they want. I think that is more important than forcing one particular religion down everyone's throats. If you want your children to learn your religious beliefs, take them to Church or enroll them in a private religious school.

Lady Saphira, nobody is fooled by the name change.
And this nation will not fall if YOUR God is not back in the schools. It will fall if BIGOTS continue to be in charge of it.

As long as it's Jesus, and not rules, regulations, and religion. We don't need controlling, self-righteous people trying to keep us from living life, making our own mistakes and learning our own lessons that God has to teach us.
What we need from Jesus, that we can't get anywhere else, is grace and perfect unconditional love.
But you can't institute that on a national level, because government and hypocrites will polute it. It's a personal thing. So we don't need Jesus back in public places, we need him working in our hearts on an individual level. Mixing church and state gives church a bad name, and it makes it look like we just want to take over the world.
Remember, Jesus got on people's nerves because he WOULDN'T take sides in politics. He didn't care about that at all.

I would recommend a more moderate and respectful approach: teach Ethics in schools. When I was in school in Germany, we had to take an Ethics class. There was a class for Catholics, Protestants (our text book was "die Bibel"), and a General Ethics class for non-believers. The important thing is that Ethics be revived in this country.
