Where in the world did you get the idea that the Church would pick a bride for you? If anyone told you this, they were sadly mistaken. Who you marry is totally up to you.
Now that you are a member, it's time to talk to your bishop and let him know you are ready to get to work. He will consider you for a calling, or for an assignment. Now is a good time to go out with the missionaries, and help them teach investigators. Find out from your Elders Quorum President if there are any assignments you can fill. There is always something to do in the Church.
If the only reason you joined the Church was because someone told you they'd find you a wife, then you are set for disappointment. I truly hope that you have a testimony of the gospel.
By the way, my son is a returned missionary and still hasn't found anyone to marry. He returned from his mission 6 years ago! He's not having any luck finding a bride.

You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)
