Whenever I clean the sides of my ear with a Q-tip, I end up going deeper and deeper.

It's most likely allergies. Does it sometimes feel like it's between the inside of your ear and the back of your throat? If so, it's because your eustachian tube is irritated. This drives me absolutely crazy when I have allergies because there's no way to get to it. It's worse than itchy eyes and nose for me.
Don't try to get at it with the Q-tip. You can damage your ear drum that way. The only thing you can do is take allergy medication.

You can use an eye drop that has an anhistamine in it. Just don't use ear drops in the eye. There's not really anything otc for ear itching, so that's what I tell my patients(I'm a pharmacist). You may have an ear infections, but there is usually pain associated with that. Careful with the q-tips though, you may end up cleaning out all the wax in your ears. The wax helps keep the bacteria out of your ear canal. The ears are sort of a self cleaning system. When you interfere with that, then problems can come up. So the source of your ear itching may be from cleaning your ears.

get some Swimmers Ear drops at the store...it's for people who swim or get water in their ears, it makes them itch.

you should never put anything in your ear smaller than your elbow. didnt your mom teach you that. could be an infection. or a bug.

Take an antihistamine, like Benadryl. You probably have allergies.

Just ignore it, and the itchy feeling might go away if you wait patiently for a little while.

have you been to the doctors sounds like an infection !!! had it lots of times ... they may also need washing out

pour some milk with strawberry mush and chocolate sy rup in and seeif it comes out of your nose if it does not you must have dicoonrediytuponvocnidia and you will die in a matter of days
