Mine's mushroom-Swiss, lots of onions--both sauted and raw

I'm not a fan of a burger made by places like McDonalds or Wendy's. I like to make my own. Fudruckers is my place. I make it with monterey jack, cheddar, and swiss cheese/ mushroom, BBQ sauce, bacon, sauteed onion, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, avocado, and red onions. The meat has to be cooked medium well too. Awww man, now that's a burger. They grill the bun for you too. If you've never been to this place go as soon as possible.

That sounds delicious!
My favorite "eat-out" burger is still Burger King. Love that flame broiled flavor.
Mom (a great cook) used to slow cook the onions in butter until they were caramelized and add them to the top of our burgers. Made them really special. Sometimes we'd get "fancy" and saute mushrooms in a little red wine for the top, too.
Now I'm hungry!

Onions (cooked and/or raw) catsup, relish or sweet sandwich slicers, a touch of mayo, a touch of mustard, and a couple of mushrooms if available. Prefer a bun or kaiser roll, but won't complain if it's better a couple slices of white bread.

Same way as you but I like Turkey burgers and only sauteed onions, no raw.

lean mince meat

What's best is a nice large burger with fresh ground beef cooked over an open fire!

There is a little pub in our town that makes a killer Black and Bleu Burger. Sooooo good.
