Yes.
Why?
Can I speak freely against government: Yes
Can I own firearms: Yes
Can I own property: Yes
Can I vote: Yes
Now show me one other nation what allows all of those things, without heavily restricting or infringing upon them. In fact, even in America, not all states allow you to do all of these things.

I am grateful for having been born under the Constitution, because maybe those who believe in "original intent" can put us back on a good track. But we are as socialist as Canada or any other nation that is not communist. Yet, I appreciate the standard of living I have here, the overall answer is yes.

YES...I've been to a lot of countries around this world...and there is no better place to live than this good old USA. What other place has the freedom that we have...to be what we want to be. It may be hard to get that....but not impossible as it is in other countries. Those other places are nice to visit...but as Dorthy said..." There's no place like home." GO USA !!!

I'm aware of the coincidence that I was born to parents living in America, where our founding principles do indeed herald what basic humanity knows is just. Where these founding principles are abrogated, our founders established the means to set them back aright: participation. To be grateful, it seems to me, is silly. It's biological coincidence, one that I'm lucky to be the result of and very glad of. When constitutional rights are challenged, whether or not in face of unprecedented circumstance, we need to support the expulsion of resident cells, thwart their intent however possible, but still not relinquish our rights in the process. We need also to participate in the way we're represented, and object to actions that go against our founding principles.
I'm glad of where I was born. Yes.

Very much so. As screwed up as our political parties and courts are it's still the best country in the world. I worry though that someday we may forfeit the freedoms we have because we give those freedoms to people who want to destroy us and our way of life. But here, you have the freedom to do that don't you.
Yes, I thank God frequently that I was born and raised in this great country.
