the following site gives you the state outlines in random order and asks you to place them (drag and drop) in the USA outline map. If you are exactly right, they compliment you; if you are off, they show you EXACTLY where the state goes, and you are timed on the whole 50 in the USA.
You can play this over and over as you learn. I have had this for two years and still enjoy it often. My average distance off in the entire USA is usually less than 35 miles after placing all 50 states. It is quite a challenge to be that low.

chill for Christ's sake, you can learn the states and their spelling in a hour. just get a blank map and a filled in one and study like a mildly intelligent person.

if you go to addictinggames . com they have a great one that you can do. you put them on the map and the game will tell you how accurate you are. you can keep doing the game untul you succeed!!!
