It has been a while since I purchased a new study Bible. I love the ones I have, however I know that they are always coming out with newer study content, notes, etc. I saw one the other day called "The Archeology Study Bible" it looked interesting with pics, charts, etc. Does anyone have this? I want to study more about the history / culture during the time of the prophets,Jesus, the apostles etc, as it relates to scripture .Any suggestions?

The Oxford Study Bible. It is a bit more scholastic than the usual edited and bombastic.
I also have a Bible and Archeology book, but being a Christian you probably would not like it.

i know you might be unwelcome to my suggestion but if you want to study the bible or find out more about it then you should get in contact with jehovah's witnesses they offer free bible studies and they have a great publication called "what does the bible really teach?"
