I think the eyes are the window to the soul is meant to work both ways--it is not just so we can look into someones eyes but it also slants the way we look out at the World. If our eyes are good then we see God in everything he made and we are able to see the Truth in his word but, if our eyes are bad then our thoughts correspond to this too.

I can find nothing that would lead me to believe that seeing ones soul by looking into they eyes is possible I did find
such a reference to the possibility in metaphor only.
Hollywood has some scripts referring to this, however they are just scrips and shows. There a couple books I looked at stating that a character in the book could do it.

Figuratively speaking, yes. A lot can be found out by looking someone in eyes. Defining soul is what answers this question. I don't think that you can see the ghostly thing that goes to heaven because I don't think it exists. But the loose definition of soul meaning personality my answer is yes.

Yes... If I meditate for a good long relaxing time, I reveal the future... Sometimes my fortune... And yes. I look into my own eyes in the mirror and I see my soul. I'm very religious - but that doesn't really relate to what I'm actually saying but somehow in my mind it does...

Windows of the Soul, In my opinion... yes you can if the person has a good honest soul. There are a lot of bad souls out there though x

It is said that the eyes are the gate to the soul. That does not mean you can see someone's soul by looking into their eyes, but you can communicate many different feelings and ideas with a look. Anger, love, hate, calmness, ect..
And conversely, ideas can be put into your mind through the eye-gate. Look at pictures of naked people and it makes you want to... well, you know.

I'm not sure about the soul, but you can certainly tell things about someone by looking into their eyes.

You only see in a person what they allow you to see.
Eyes are said to be the window to the soul, but they can also hide things that shouldn't be shared.
