Not necessarily. Next time you visit your Doctor ask him/her to check your Body Mass Index. Your height and weight really isn't enough information to judge whether or not you are overweight although my guess without knowing anything else is possibly a little but that's just a guess.

Congrats but be careful because in general if you lose 12 lbs in a week you may not be doing it in a healthy way and will gain it back faster if not done in a healthy manner.

It depends on your height and how old you are. In health I got a chart that helped you look at your height and age that would determine your weight and if that was overweight or not. Considering your height, that probably means that you should still loose a few more pounds, if you get to 150-155, that is a good weight.

Hope this helps!

Well your bmi (body mass index) is 26.3. That falls into the overweight category, but only by a bit. A healthy weight for your height would be a bmi from 18.5- 24.9. You can calculate your bmi just by typing "bmi calculator" into google, and entering your height and weight into a calculator that comes up.
12 pounds in a week is really impressive, just make sure you're doing it a healthy way =)

Yes, you should probably get down to about 150. According to a Body Mass Index. I'm pretty sure you can't lose 12 lbs. in a week.

Well...losing 12 lbs in a week isn't good! To keep it off for good, you need to lose about 2 lbs per week. Otherwise you will just gain it back. For your height , you should weigh about 130lbs. I checked it out on the Internet and I'm 5'5" and was told that I should weigh about 125lbs for my ideal weight.

According to the BMI calculator, yes, you are still slightly overweight. This will vary based on your bone density, muscle density, and build type. If you really want to discuss your weight and what your ideal weight is, talk to your doctor.

Depending on your bone structure, you should weigh around 130. Losing 12 lbs in one week is dangerous to your health. Do it slowly and exercise.

The best way to determine if you are out of your healthy zone would to be to look up a BMI calculator online.
