This really depends on the type of dog you have. My aunt raises small dogs and they love their stuffies (stuffed animals), most small dogs I have contact with are the same way. Medium sized dogs that are ball chaser, generally love tennis balls or the throw sticks, non-ball chasers might like squeaky toys or pull ropes. If you are talking about a strong-jawed breed then you generally will want a large sturdy pull rope toy (most of these breeds love to play tug-of-war) and kongs or other sturdier throw toys for them as they tend to break open tennis balls quite quickly and easily. I generaly go for a variety pack and then replace the toys my dog loved best once they have gotten lost or destroyed. Good luck.

I don't know about the most popular - but I usually go to yard sales and get the stuffed animals for about .25 to .50 each and let her destroy those. My dog always has to have something in her mouth like a ball, chew toy, etc in her mouth, so this way she is happy and it only costs me a bit of money. I figure that she is just going to tear them up anyway, so why pay a bunch of money on something that she is only going to tear up.
By the way, she doesn't eat the stuffing, only pulls the stuffing out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Kong toys are the best I heard because they are made of some tough rubber that is hard to rip and tear apart for those dogs who tear up those little teddy bear like toys in a minute also you can put some yummy treats in them and let your dog try to get them out its FUN!

Stuff Animals are super popular with dogs.

My dog loves stuff animals. She is 7. She loved them as a pup and still loves them.

Plastic soda bottles. Just watch the dog.
Kongs are the best.
Anything "stuffed" is dangerous.

i would say kongs..but depends what your looking for..are you looking for something that makes noise, or to chew on, or for durability..but i go for durability just cuz my puppy can chew thru just about anything..he might be small but his teeth are somehow mighty

Kongs - they are great and come in all sizes, almost indestructable and can be stuffed with treats - provides lots of fun for dogs.
