First, you are not committing a sin. Secondly, it is not lust if it's His heart that you're in love with. Catholic nuns actually believe that they are marrying Jesus when they take their final vows. They wear a white wedding dress and are given a wedding ring to wear.

Yes....
It is a SIN Sister.
As a highly paid man of God with 40 years experience of baking in the presence of Jesus, let me tell you...
Jesus DOES NOT LIKE TO BE LUSTED AFTER!!!
Even though all the songs say that you love Jesus, etc, etc, you must be careful not to actually LOOOOVE Jesus because, although he is the perfect man and although, yes, he is a real person AND IN THEORY - Available....
He's made HIMSELF off limits to women - PHYSICALLY, because, even though he was "tried in all things, and experienced in all things like men are...." as the Bible says, the ONE EXCEPTION is sex.
You see, Jesus is INTO this kinda SELF-PUNISHING thing and so he has refused the "love" of a woman for a couple-thousand years now and sister, I don't think that you want to be charged with "Tempting" the Lord, do you?
So, I would suggest that you discover the fine art of "fantasy Christian masturbation", where you take the image you have of Jesus and spiritually superimpose it upon someone you feel is handsome and just work it all out that way.
THAT WAY, you don't tempt Jesus, you don't mess up the balance of the universe and you let off some steam...
I mean... What if you got pregnant? That's what happened to Mary when she tempted Jesus and God - Being GOD, made something wonderful out of the whole mess - CHRISTIANITY!!!!!! - But ask yourself..... Do you really want to take the chance of having a son killed, and the chance that people will inadvertently worship you, and confuse things even MORE than they are already????
No.... No, sister... None of us want that...
Besides - I don't think God will fall for that one twice.

I was told by Baptists, that that's the way to salvation, I think they call it spontaneous salvation.
My understanding is that Jesus doesn't care so much what sins you commit, but whether you have let him into your heart (which, to my way way of thinking, would easier for women than men).

Please stop allowing satan to deceive you to thinking that the way a man loves a woman and vice versa is how we should perceive love for the Lord, they are not the same. You are supposed to have the Lord in your heart, He is supposed to be number one but, godly love is not the same as love between man and woman.

That is not the strangest thing I've ever heard. I don't know if it is a sin or not, though. Why don't you ask Him?

I would think not, if you are in love with Him as Your Savior. There are all kinds of love.
The words "in love" are usually used in a romantic way, so that may not be the best choice of words for you to use.
