There is another question . Why making this skid marks , what is the reason ? To replace rear tire sooner or ad stress to the spokes and another parts on your bike ? I do understand to make this marks in need when in emergency or when you checking the brakes , but not for fun from it . Last skid mark I made on asphalt was because car run red light and I think it was happened in July . From this time I ride distance on my bike about 2 500 km ......

It all depends on the circumstances. Sure, skid marks are a pretty common thing from cars and such. But it is a different story when it comes to do it next to an angry neighbor or a cop, then you are likely to get caught and punished. Doing that on sidewalks could also be dangerous because of the contrast.

It might be considered vandalism in some communities, especially closed and private communities. I remember being around 7 years old and leaving a huge long skid mark on the sidewalk. The owner of the house saw me do it and started yelling at me. I think he even tried to blast me with his water hose. It was a long time ago.

Making bike skid marks on purpose is perfectly legal in most places - legal, but stupid. It' s unnecessary wear on your tires. All skidding your tires would indicate to most people is that you have trouble controlling your bike.
Do skids on purpose in dirt on a group ride and expect a lot of dirty looks from your fellow riders - it's considered bad trail etiquette and it contributes heavily to trail erosion.

I do not believe it is illegal, but if you are mountain biking and you skidding all of the time, that is bad. It can be one of the main cause of erosion on the trails.

Only if you're inside a public building at the time!
They might try to get you for something else though: breach of the peace, causing a nuisance, causing an obstruction, not having consideratin for other road users, wearing a loud shirt in a built up area ... that sort of thing.

In a motorcycle, yes it is in most states. It is considered a traffic violation called "demonstration of acceleration" and is akin to street racing. Basically, it's illegal to show how fast your car is anywhere except a racetrack or private property.

Not if you are on the road but it is if you are doing it on private property. Any time anyone purposely messes up someone else's property, it's illegal.

It happens when the rider is going fast and hits the brakes, same as a car drover. It's not illegal.
