i certainly don't. i find it fascinating and mildly amusing that some people believe in an invisible being.

i'm sure that the FSM and IPU will become major religions in the next few hundred years and people will worship them just as though they are real.

I am not an atheist, but English is my first language so perhaps I can help simplify things.

It is impossible for anyone to be ANGRY at something they do not believe EXISTS.
The very definition of atheism, of one who is an atheist means they do not believe that such a thing as any deity exists.

Therefore, they are not angry at any deity.

This isn't the first time I've seen this question in some form or other and it is nonsensical.

Anger, contempt, fear, hatred, are all things that can ONLY be directed at an entity that one believes EXISTS. If anyone claims an atheist has feelings TOWARD a deity, then they do NOT understand the definition of the word. It is that simple.
EDIT to note
OY gevalt..this is what I get for not reading a question all the way through and leave it to me for the FIRST time to do it to really have my chain yanked. LOL!

I apologize as I thought this was yet ANOTHER of the questions that really do ask this question in earnestness.

OOPS! I will be much more careful next time! Does this mean a deserve lashes with the spaghetti? ( Please make sure it's at least al dente before you lash! )

Na, the next major religion is going to start as a cargo cult around Elvis.

Pastafarism makes too much sense to catch on in a big way.

I find it hard to believe there are any Atheists here at all.

You, youself, just PERPETRATED the name GOD and INVISIBLE BEING.

You have LENT CREDIBILITY to the concept, by sheer acknowledgement.

That strikes me as being totally against what an Atheist would do. Why who an Athiest want to keep the concept in the press.

Let's be frank, Richard Dawkins put forth the name GOD to people who never herd the name before.

He gives lip service to something he doesn't view exists.

That's like Fred Hoyle naming the Priest's origin of the universe concept by dubbing it Big Bang.

A far better name than the PRIMORDIAL ATOM

So, I can only conclude what is here are trouble makers and the Yahoo name for them is Trolls.

How dare you blaspheme FSM (sauce be upon him). You will suffer the trials if you don't repent.

Youre a real original thinker. I see your posts all the time, and I believe you are obsessed with the Christian belief. I wish it were different and you were obsessed in a thoughtful and kind way.

EDIT:
Regardless, I consider it a lack of character.

Atheists don't believe in God.
How can you be angry at something that doesn't exist?

Perhaps you are frustrated and confused and that is what causes you to vent at others who seem to have found their peace and spiritual route.
Or you are bored and like poking others to entertain yourself.
Either way, it only makes you look bad.
