Is there a way to restore color on a shirt?

I have a shirt that has yellow and red stripes and the both colors are faded is there a detergent or something to brighten up the colors?

Fading just means the color is gone. In 50 years of doing laundry, I know of no way to bring back colors.

If you spray starch and iron it, it might look better.
