I wear contacts/glasses regularly, so my eyesight isn't perfect to begin with, but just about three days ago, I noticed a dramatic decrease in the vision in my left eye.. There is no pain or redness or anything else unusual, but i've had a headache for the duration of this issue.... another weird thing is when I wake up in the morning, it seems back to normal, but as the day goes on, it gets worse... any idea what this can be? thanks in advance

Uveitis, optic neuritis, retrobulbar neuritis, raised intracranial pressure, intracranial haemorrhage....
There are definite serious possiblities which need elimination, even if they are rare. If they are present, failure to treat them early can mean a worse outcome.

If it's been there for three days, you should be thinking of seeing someone tomorrow (if it's now evening, your time.)

Edit: good point, Paul. It could be a swapped or damaged contact lens, unless the effect is there with glasses as well.
There are simple *and* serious possibilities.

Your symptoms indicate your lenses don't fit properly. When you remove them...the symptoms go away. When you put them on and go through the day....pain, blurred vision...Hmmmm.

Make sure you have the right lens on the 'right' eye. Have them checked to see if the BC or base curve and your cornea readings coincide. Doesn't sound like a brain tumor, or diabetes, or sarcoid, or heart failure or.....
