Abortion is murder
In the USA abortion can be done for any reason and at any moment before birth.,although there are attempts at restricting partial -birth abortion
In Ireland abortion is only permitted to save the life of the mother. however, many go to other countries to kill their preborn children.
Italy is not at replacement level in native births and soon the Italian"race" will go exinct and even now Italy is relying on immigration for survival

Abortion is a very controversial subject and I do not agree with it. For the vast majority there is no need for unwanted pregnancies in a world that provides adequate contraception....but this is what the UK law states.........

The UK's abortion law

Abortion is legal in the UK up to the 24th week of pregnancy. However, if there is a substantial risk to the woman's life or if there are foetal abnormalities there is no time limit.

To comply with the 1967 Abortion Act, two doctors must give their consent, stating that to continue with the pregnancy would present a risk to the physical or mental health of the woman or her existing children.

However, the 1967 Act does not extend to Northern Ireland, where abortion is still illegal.

UK it's legal, but only up to a certain amount of weeks, I believe.

Those saying it's murder, or rather that it should be banned because it's murder are blinkered, and like in most cases when people get on their high horse over issues like this, the majority have no experience of the situations that can force a woman to consider an abortion and are what I have heard called "remote voters" i.e. people who have an opinion against something of which they have either no personal experience or understanding.

I say that the woman calls the case.

In the Republic of Ireland abortion is illegal except for situations where the pregancy endangers the life or health of the mother. This says nothing for rape victims or victims of incest, by the way, but I think that people are largely very sympathetic despite the law.

My own opinion is that it is last resort option and a terrible, awful decision for a woman to have to make, but at the end of the day it is and remains the woman's decision. Tough on the man, I know, but it isn't his body or life that is directly affected by the pregnancy.

In early stages of pregnancy (in my opinion up to 12 weeks) it's something I think is okay. Unplanned pregnancies can ruin lives (after all, why should a rape victim have to go through giving birth and the mental torture of then giving the baby up, or the equal torture of bringing up a child they will always associate with that rape?)

After 12 weeks, I believe it's getting a bit too late to take that step as the faetus has developed to a more advanced stage and is now becoming more aware as the brain develops.

It's a toughie, but I believe ultimately it should be down to BOTH parents. It takes two to make a baby, and it should take two to make that decision... except when obviously the father is not about to make that choice.

Oh yeah, in the UK it's legal yes.

Abortion is leagal in the country that I live in (the U.S.). Wheather or not it's right depends on wheather you're pro-choice or pro-life. I aslo think that it's pretty stupid and naive to say that most people in the U.S. agree with either of those opinions because really I think it's split about evenly. I'm not sure where i stand on this issue but I am sure that it shouldn't be the government's decision.

It's legal although many people are against it and a lot of girls on here get a rough time for even comtemplating it.

I think if there is a valid reason then fine, each to their own but it shouldn not be used as a form of contraception.

abortion can be necessary if there is a failure in the protection that you use. It is up to the woman....entirely. I dont care what the law says....its very important to consider what she is going through....after all...isnt it better to do it then than bring a child in the world that you will struggle to provide for>?

Are you a Catholic? You probably are. You're against abortion.

In America, basically the Republicans disagree with abortion (Pro-life) and the Democrats support abortion (Pro-choice).

I disagree with it.

I personally don't agree with them unless it's a medical reason! But some woman use it as a form of contraception! In the UK it's legal!
