Well Sis,
I'd tell you do not be afraid God loves us no matter what we do and we live Glory-to-glory and God is not up there waiting for us to mess up. We all mess up and fall short just as long as we brush off and push forward its a fight for your faith no matter. "If God is for you who can be against you"" Perfect Love cast out fear""God has not given us a Spirit of Fear but of Power,Love and a sound Mind."
Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy.
Build your foundation in Jesus -that is what will matter from here on out.
I'll be praying for you.

You dont have enough faith? Only in yourself.
Give yourself time, faith is not something that happens over night. First I suggest you attend a local church. Make friends there. Get to know others of the faith. They will help you learn more about it.
Read the bible. It will help you gain faith.
Pray, open a loving dialog with your God. That is the best way to gain faith. Trust me he will listen. You have only but to ask.
Look into your heart. Your God is there, you have only to ask him to come forth.
You can do nothing wrong if you seek out God and ask him to come into your life. A clergy person of the faith you are interested in is always a good source of guidance and can be found in most churchs.
I hope you find what you are looking for. But you must start the search.
Blessings,
Aviana

I have been baptised but that did not make me a christian. Baptism is simply an outward appearance to show people that you have been saved and cleansed from sin. And how much faith do you need? If you believe Jesus Christ is the son of God, born of a virgin, died on the cross for your sins, resurrected and now sits on the right hand of God, then all you have to do is ask him to forgive you for all your sins with a sincere heart. Then you can get baptized. But please don't mistake baptism for salvation, it is not.

May I suggest you go along and have a chat with your local baptist minister and tell him about this matter. He will be more than pleased to assist you and show you there is no need to be afraid of anything and that the Lord would love to have you in His family. I am a born again Christian of almost 39 years and there is nothing to fear as the Lord Himself will give you strength to do all things.

Faith comes from hearing the word of God.
Find a church and the minister will baptize you.
Your will to learn is enough. You faith will grow.
You have the desire, that is the start.
God Bless and don't worry. Just do it. The rest will come.
Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened to you. I would suggest a Lutheran or Methodist church to start with. They are not so radical. Later you can explore other churches to find the one you like best.

I agree with another answer. The Holy Spirit is speaking to you and giving you the desire to accept Jesus as your Savior. You can do it right here and now. Ask for forgiveness. Let God know that you believe and want Him in your life. The bible says to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. The bible does not lie. Give your heart to Him and study His Word. Faith will increase as you live your life for Him.
After you have been saved, it is good to be baptized as a symbol of having your sins washed away. Baptism does not save you. But, it is good to do to follow Jesus' example.
You are in my prayers.

All you need is the faith of a mustard seed.
God Loves you so much, and HE wants you in
HIS Kingdom. Don't pass up an opportunity to
ask Jesus into your heart. Go to church and run to
the alter. God is there waiting for you, with open arms. I will pray for you.
God Bless You.

Well go for the baptism then.
You don't need faith - does a baby have faith in the lord? No, its just like God tagging you and saying 'you're it.'
If you think that would be a meaningful gesture then you're really far gone - maybe you find it hard to have faith because you have been exercising some critical thought. Is faith good? If you were buying a 2nd hand car and the guy said this is a bargain, would you automatically believe him?

There are many words in the Bible which are often misunderstood by theologians and Bible students. Words and phrases like Israel, covenant, born again, election, shedding of blood, etc., are amongst those hat are frequently understood by many. One word that is as misunderstood as any other is the word baptism. Unfortunately, the misunderstanding of the word baptism has often lead to seriously wrong teaching concerning the nature of salvation. Therefore, it is very necessary that we clearly understand the Biblical teaching concerning the matter of baptism.
