We manage very well without postcodes. If your address is in Wexford town, just write Wexford, Ireland. Or name of another town or village, Co. Wexford. Irish post gets delivered overnight in most cases. We are super efficient here.

Wexford does not have post codes. As far as I know, Dublin is the only county with post codes in Ireland.

In the Republic of ireland, aside from Dublin and Cork, they tend to use "townlands" in the rural areas. The townland name continues to be one of the more important divisions in the Irish post system. However, today people are no longer as particular about the townland boundaries as they were in the recent past. It is not unusual to see farms being expanded and townland boundaries being bulldozed away to exist in future only on maps.
Examples of townlands in Couty Wexford:
Ballycogley
Barntown

Ireland doesn't use the same number codes that are used in the United States. They just go by town names.

If the local post office workers know the person to whom you are addressing your letter, you won't even need to write a proper address. I once got a letter addressed as so:
[my name]
Back Of Beyond
[the name of the town]
Co Tipperary.
Absolutley without any problems.
