Read the Bible, pray to God, talk to God, attend a church that truly openly worships a live God. Ask others to pray for your search in finding God.

I'm not sure if God is a "him" but because of my life experiences, I am positive there is a God.

Btw, just finished reading "90 minutes in Heaven" which was pretty good. My mother was pronounced dead and visited "the other side" which she always referred to as Heaven. She was not on meds or anything that causes some to dispute Life-After-Death experiences.

When she came back she asked her family why they didn't tell her about the stillborn siblings she apparently had that would have been older than her because she saw them in Heaven. They were all shocked because they had kept that from her because it made my Grandma so upset thinking/talking about it. No one on earth had ever told her about them but she was resusitated and came back from Heaven knowing this and becoming a changed person in a lot of respects.

At the time I was volunteering at a 24-hr crisis hotline and she said she wished she had done a lot more in life to help people. I think if you were to meet anyone who has truly been to the other side and back, you would know.

Btw, once a year individuals who have had a Life after Death experience hold a convention usually near a metro area in the US. They are some of the most interesting conventions I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of conventions in my life.

You were born an atheist. Outside sources have caused you to wonder and search about a thing called God.
However, I do know where you can find him. There are probably many churches around where you live. Just go to a Sunday service and people there will be glad to help you :)

In the New Testament of the holy BIBLE. Find a church you like and get to meet people just like you who seek GOD. I wish you peace and love on your journey to find God. He loves you and is waiting. May GOD bless you right now.

say a prayer like this, Dear father I need you. please forgive me of my sins. I believe that Jesus, Your only begotten son died for my sins and i am ready to give my heart to you. In jesus name, amen
After you say that prayer God will be in your heart and he will never leave you. start reading your Bible if you have one and if you don't go to www.biblegateway.com you can read the whole Bible for free. God Bless you, Guide you, & protect you in all that you do.

Some say "The good book" or a church. God is elusive. Every time someone thinks they have found him the evidence turns out like a photo of big foot...murky and vague.

I think within yourself. I've been pushed and pulled away and towards religion, and I think this is what I have concluded. It's more of a concept than anything physical and real, and it can be found in personal spirituality.
