So how does one go about doing that who do I ask or talk too cause its not for me its for my good friend just wants out

Are you active duty or in the delayed entry program? Full time active you can request whatever you want. But you can also expect to get denied most of what you want. Delayed entry, you can get out without any problems.

It depends' if you in bootcamp, you can request mast as they say, and state your case. If you're already in, you can go do the same, go to the chaplan or doctors to name a few. Its hard though. One of the things you can do is apply for a "hardship" in which they'll review your case and tell you yes or no. If you're in right now, I suggest you keep it under your hat and don't tell too many people what you want to do. Others won't think so kindly and may start to harrass you.
