You need to be more specific... just how small do you need them to be, and how much are you willing to spend? Will you only be using them for stereo music so you need only 2 speakers... or you want to buy 5 speakers for surround sound? You need to know that no Mini speaker can make a full sound without a subwoofer, so you need to budget money for that too. Another option is to take a look at "in-wall" speakers to save space. Bose speakers are over rated and over priced... no serious music listeners use Bose (unless they are getting paid to promote them)... I would stay away from Bose.

Bose is the low end of the high end speakers. if you want sound as if the band is playing right in front of you, you won't get it out of small speakers. Bose speakers sound great for music, they're not super loud though, and they're small. or you can go up from there to some heritage klipsch speakers for 3 grand. AMAZING!.

If you're budget is not too tight, one of the best
sounding speaker manufacturers out there is
Silverline Audio. They have a very small mini-
monitor speaker system that rivals the overall
sound of many excellent petite floor speakers.
I was at a loss for words that all that beautiful
and dynamic music that was coming out of a
speaker of its minuscule size. And as you go
up the line, it only gets better from there. Ok,
there are other good choices out there from
other high-end speaker manufacturers like
Dynaudio, Epos, Harbeth, and ProAc - just
to name a few - but Silverlines are the easi-
est on an amp to drive, and from my exper-
ience, I have not heard another speaker of
the Minuet's size do so much for the repro-
duction of music for such a modest price.

Do not go with Bose they are garbage. Basically, anything other than Bose is better than bose. I recommend going to a store and listening to the speakers before you buy them because audio is all personal preference thus you could like something someone does not. I have some harmon/kardom speakers and I love them however someone else may not. Buy the ones YOU like.

dude go with bose 321 go to a bose store and listen to those things your self and take it home for a month to see how it would sound in your house. thats what i did and this thing is nuts. i have a room 20 ft wide 30 ft long and it sounds like i have speakers all around in the room. when i only have these two little speakers in the front. when playing movies at night times sounds like someone is behind you. and its only three wires and the dvd player kicks ***.
