CSF stands for Cerebral Spinal Fluid. It's the fluid supporting your central nervous system that doctor's extract during a spinal tap.

Serum is the liquid part of blood that's left after all the red blood cells and plasma have been seperated out via centrifuge. It's used in certain blood tests.
