War does exist, it is one of mans most evil institutions.
Man does murder, young men still kill young men.
Man is NOT loving.
God is a God of love.
Death is real...and so is the judgement..and everlasting life.

You are going into the power of the mind. I do agree that it is powerful. BUT
If you are convinced that everything is a dream because of the fear of reality then this will just ease your pain not take it away, and after a while just cause more suffering because the world will not turn to yours.
The matrix effect. We can believe anything but anything we believe in would not change the world only our reality.
It is possible that we are living in someone else reality but then Einstein has it right when he said:
Am it me or the REST OF THE WORLD that is mad...
Conform, play the game or be dismissed.
In the end it can be summed up in one word:
Survival

Native Teachings say we live in a dream. One we create with our spirit. As we help our Creator and the Earth to stay in existence with our spiritual power.
However, the First Law of the Universe is the Divine Paradox.
That our world is just an illusion compared to the spirit world, (other dimensions in existence). Nevertheless, it is still Real.

As great a "great terror"-ist as was Moses' law: Deut 34:12
As great a "great" whore as Baby-lon in Isaiah...Revelation.
As twice fallen as Babylon is to great<--greater<--greatest.
You were on a roll, till you endead it with vengeful Abel,
with bloodshed which speaks of vengeance: Rev 6:10.
Repeating Law is Law Law. Grace is not Law Law.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Reading your "question," I am reminded of the old joke, "what if there were no hypothetical situations?"
that's about as lucid an answer as seems appropriate.
