Right now I am thinking of studying something in the field of business or marketing.

My question is whether a career in marketing is easy to come by. I've heard stories of people going to a top college and majoring in something like law and then not being able to find a job after they get their degree, because the demand is not very high for there job. If I get a degree in the marketing field will I be able to quickly find a good paying job in my area. (Willing to move, but not to far from where I currently am)

If not what other career paths do you suggest?
- AP student
- Currently have a 3.2 non-weighted GPA
- Most of my Family owns their own business.
- Vegetarian (so I won’t be a butcher lol)
- Willing to go into the field of medicine (psychology, dentistry) also anything that pertains to the bossiness world i.e. accounting, banking, business management etc.
- Open to suggestions

I suggest you pull up your grades. It is a competitive field out there and a 3.2 is the middle of the pack.

You are a junior and you are trying to decide a career? I would suggest you sit out a semester and get your feet wet. Then, come back focused and ready to tackle your major.

Marketing is like being a prostitute, you are selling a service that some may or may not need and leave you with something that you may or may not get rid of.

There are millions of people involved in marketing. You need to get with it if you are going to get into that field.

Once you decide on what direction you want to pursue (law, medicine, etc) then attack it and be the best in your class.

If you only have the ability to make B's, C's and a few A's, then you need to learn how to apply yourself and quit screwing around in college.
