okay, so my laptop lead adapter is going, and i need a new one

the one im currently using for my laptop says
"input 100-240V 50-60hz 1.7A"
and "output 20v 3.25 A"

but i have had a look on ebay and though i CAN find ones witht he same input, i can't find any that go up to 20v, usually around18-19.5v for output, are the highest rating i can find

so i was wondering if i bought one that was 18v, 19v or 19.5v output and 100-240v input, would it still work?

please help me, i am desperately needing a new lead and i cant find any info anywhere. thanks for you're time.

Input voltage standard for North America is 110 VAC 60 Hz.
The ouput amps are more important than the exact voltage.
Voltage is nominal, & will be reduced internally anyway.
So get the closest value that you can.
Just make sure the polarity & connector are the same.
